I need to try the cable organizer. For some reason it has felt intimidating to acknowledge the several clumps of wire trees growing, and I swear also multiplying, around our home. But a simple strap, what harm could that do?
The monitor has been my life changing one. It might just be age, as I literally cannot see things on my laptop screen that I could a few years ago. I got one external monitor, got greedy and also got a second. That has been game changing.
Totally agree about the monitor! Once you experience dual screens, there’s no going back 😄. However, I still prefer a single monitor because I want my table to be as simple as possible and I don’t really need a 2nd monitor.
And yes, cable organizers make such a surprising difference. It’s one of those small upgrades that quietly improves your whole setup.

You know it's the stupidest thing- I have this small light that clips onto my physical books. I take it everywhere. In addition to being a good book light, it's a convenient little flashlight of sorts, and it stands too for when you want to pretend like you have a table lamp. 😂
